Goal Setting
Getting Started
You can do this goal setting process anytime.
First use the Creating Goals worksheet. Start by writing down all the goals you want to do in a timeframe that works for you. Write down any goal, from making your bed every day to going back to school for a degree.
After you've made a list, see which goals can be grouped together in the Quarterly Goals categorization template. If a few goals relate to household organization or personal finances, group them. Same with goals that have specific deadlines (such as taxes done by April).
You can also categorize your goals by simple vs complex. Making your bed has one step and can be accomplished daily. But some goals, like selling a car, have multiple steps.
Complex goals can be divided into smaller to-do list items in the Goal Action Plan worksheet. Break down your larger goal into smaller tasks. Put those tasks in order and create deadlines for when each tasks needs to be accomplished. You can then put these tasks into your calendar or to-do list.
These worksheets can be done as often as you like.
